Exclusive Chauffeur Driven 1930's "Traction Avant" Classic French Limousines For Weddings

Our cars are known as the 'Traction Avant' model which in French simply means 'Front Wheel Drive'. They were introduced in Paris in 1934 with production running through until 1957. They were immediately a sensation and even today they are highly regarded and often referred to as the forerunner of the "Modern Car" because they were technically so advanced.

They had a monocoque body, independent front suspension, rack and pinion steering, powerful hydraulic brakes not to mention the first mass produced front wheel drive system, some 25 years ahead of the the Mini. Not bad for 1934! We operate the long wheel base limousine version of the car as it offers a considerable amount of space and comfort in which to relax on the day.

The cars are Silver in colour with a delightful 'French Grey' interior and the body styling is clearly indicative of that wonderful 'Art Deco' period of the 1930's. They capture a special part of history and reflect an era that has so quickly passed us by. With a captivating style they make an ideal partner for that 'Special Day' so why not take a look at the gallery and then call us to arrange an appointment.
